Hey there, I'm Kayc!
My favorite titles include wife, mama, auntie & of course photographer. I've been capturing life's moments since 'Nam... okay not really... but it feels like it! I have been taking photos of friends, family, strangers & things I just thought looked cool since I was old enough to use a camera. (And yes, the cringy Facebook memories from the early 2000's haunt me.) If there's one thing about me you should absolutely know I LOVE, love... It makes my heart so dang happy. Capturing the raw, genuine happiness during every shoot is my jam.
Random Truths No One Asked For:
- I was a finalist in Enid Monthly's 'Best of Enid 2022' contest in the Photographer category!
- I am a published photographer, meaning my photos have been featured in magazines!
- I met my husband in the FIFTH grade... we didn't really talk to each other for about 10 years after that one semester. We were pulled back to each other in 2018 via social media, moved to a small Oklahoma town we had never heard of & began creating the life we've dreamt of.
- I've been to over 20 states & have the Starbucks mug to prove it!
- You'll generally find me with my daughter or at starbucks... or both!
- I'm the only left hander in my fam, aka I'm the only fun one!
- Saturday mornings you can usually find me watching SpongeBob while I eat my breakfast... #noshame.
- I'm a pretty Type A, meticulous, scheduled person.
- My husband & I could 1,000% live off of Mexican food.
- I was the first in my family to graduate college & paid for it all on my own with the help of my Show choir scholarship.
- I was a 911 dispatcher for 3 years sooooooo.. sometimes (okay a lot of times) I don't have a filter. #sorry
